What’s New This New Year!!!!Today is a bright and sunny winter morning. In North India, we enjoy different conditions throughout the year. We have cold winters, very hot and long summers and rains in between. The winter season is comparatively shorter and the period of extreme cold lasts only thirty to forty days. The Christmas has gone, and as the year comes to an end, I am reminded how quickly the time flies. It is hard to believe that it is the last day of 2018. It seems that I had celebrated Christmas of 2017 just a few days ago. I was talking to my niece last night when she asked me what my New Year resolution is? I had not given this any thought because, usually I am not able to stick by with my resolutions. Now, when she had encouraged me to think about, I have planned something for the current year which I am sharing in this article. To plan for my resolution, I recalled the events of the year 2018. This had been an exciting year for me. I launched my website https://anshushrivastava.com/, and written over 80,000 words on the topic of parental guidance and posted them on my website. What I believe that the topic parental guidance is relevant for everyone and it is surprising that there is no formal education on this subject which deals with one of the essential responsibilities of life. The information I shared on my website is a result of my experience and self-study.
The responses from the readers on my articles encourage me to continue to write more. When I was a student, I thought that when I will complete my studies, I may not have to learn anything new. But life does not proceed as planned. It is said that life places challenges, so we may learn from them.
I wonder why we need to learn so much?People say that a person’s purpose in life is to search for its meaning. This is true, and it can be done by explorations and experimentation. And that is why life shows us its many shades. After all, we are not here to live for thousands of years. Why can’t we enjoy our time here? Sometimes, I want to dance to my tune, stroll along the seashore, and nap in the winter sunshine.
Life gives us many gifts: family, friends, the world around us and our consciousness that we can truly appreciate them. Anshu ShrivastavaThey are essential to us, to support and comfort us. So, today, I want to thank my friends and family who are a part of my life and who give it a meaning. I feel privileged that I am a part of your fraternity. My new year resolution is to connect more with my readers. My goal is to actively involve my readers in my blog so that I can get their feedback. And with their suggestions the articles can be enriched. As I am writing on parental guidance, I would love to hear from you about your experiences in life.
